So what have I been up to recently?
Work is doing very well, surprisingly.
I used to be really scared of being assigned to a project from a diamond client, that just participating in a call meeting made my voice tremble like there's no tomorrow. But I'm feeling quite comfortable now. It feels like everything will work out fine regardless of what happens. Maybe it's because I'm also getting along better with my teammates -- which is something I thought wouldn't happen considering how awkward I was at the beginning. I used to avoid having lunch with them, but I keep looking forward to it now.
If there's anything I don't like about my work, it's the shifting schedule. Not because I can't do it, but because it ruins my appearance and health. I don't like looking stressed, nor do I like gaining weight. So if I'm gonna quit this job, it's gonna be because of that.
God Eater Burst
I don't know how or why I didn't know this game existed, but I only discovered it recently and I've been very addicted to it. Especially with collecting weapons. I don't understand why people keep complaining about the plot, the characters, the gameplay, etc. I already appreciate the fact that it HAS a plot, a well-thought setting, good AI, and challenging monsters... It doesn't make sense comparing it to Monster Hunter -- because MonHun's focus is on the gameplay. What God Eater Burst did was to include the elements we wanted Monster Hunter to have, like plot, story-based teammates, sword and gun switching, and jumps. MonHun is a game I enjoy playing with a Hunting Party, but GE Burst is a game I prefer playing by myself. I can't wait for God Eater 2 to come out~ The graphics look promising.
KuroBasu pixiv comic translations are still ongoing! Yes, I haven't stopped doing them yet. I try to get one translation done per week. Mostly during weekends because I'm usually too tired to do anything on weekdays. Without the anime, the KuroBasu fandom is a little quiet. Everybody else is into ShinKyo or Free!. I'm not a part of the ShinKyo fandom so I wouldn't know why it's popular, but for the Free! fandom... I think I've said this before, but too many people are jumping on the bandwagon and making a big deal out of it. (Though I guess you'd expect that from an anime born from a popular commercial) What makes Free! so different from other sports anime, anyway? I mean, aside from the characters being shirtless hotties? I'm not gonna lie and say I'm not watching it for the fanservice, because I am. But surely, that's not the only thing I'm expecting. More than fanservice, I'm looking forward to character development. And I'm surprised at how obsessed some people are towards the characters when we barely know anything about them. It reminds me of what happened to the KuroBasu fandom regarding Akashi. He's only had like 5 lines but he's already everyone's favorite character. Hence, the Free! fandom scares me -- but the ShinKyo fandom scares me even more.
Recently, I've been obsessed with searching for a really nice Swiss watch with a white/silver dial and a steel bracelet. Price must be $700 or less. I've checked some watch stores here, but have yet to find something I really like. If you have any suggestions, kindly tell me~
Three weeks ago, my first full-time job finally began.
It's a little far from the job I imagined, but I'm alright with it.
Originally, I was planning to send my application to some banks since it's the pretty common thing Economics graduates do. But my sister was pushing me to apply for an IT position because a friend of hers chose this line of work and became quite successful in her career. I didn't particularly mind -- I mean, career growth is fast in the IT industry and it's something I might be able to enjoy (since I'm pretty much in front of the PC everyday anyway) so I thought, "Why not?"
At first, I thought I wasn't going to pass the application process because I had no IT background at all (all I know is HTML & CSS), but apparently, background in IT is not necessary. So I passed and the company offered me a pretty decent salary too. (Well, it's IT after all)
So now I'm part of a bootcamp with 24 others and things are going well. I already received my first payslip as well.
Sometimes I wonder why I ended up in the IT industry, but I guess a lot of people share my sentiments. I've heard several stories of people coming from non-IT backgrounds getting employed and gradually becoming great programmers or testers.
I'm not so sure if I'm going to continue with this type of job, but for now I'll need the experience.
It's also a little sad because I am very busy and don't have as much time for fandom as I did before. (That doesn't mean I'll stop contributing, though.) Waking up early is a pain too. But I guess the payslip is worth it. HAHA

A week ago, I managed to make my 100th translation post in tumblr!
Check out all my translations HERE.
Despite the busy schedule, I'm still doing KuroBasu pixiv translations. LOL
That's because I'm stubborn. I don't want to give it up.
Then again, there are so many translators suddenly popping out so it's the perfect chance to retire.
There are also some KuroBasu commercial doujinshi I want to translate but other groups are already doing them so I thought that maybe I should just leave everything to them?
Then I can focus on doing my job or... doing translations for other fandoms that need it or sth.
I've been thinking about it for a while now, but I'm still unsure what to do.
I released Fura Fura in yefione a week ago, in case you missed it.
I'm doing Kira Kira (the artist's second TakaMido book) but I need a cleaner for it.
I can do it myself but... it takes time and I just want to focus on translating and typesetting for the most part.
So if anyone's interested, please leave a comment or send me a private message!
Finally updating to present you...
Vanilla Shake -SIDE:S-!
It took me a while to do this, maybe about two days or more?
Editing was a bit of a pain, but I finally got it done~
Fandom: Kuroko no Basuke
Title: Vanilla Shake -SIDE:S-
Pairing: Aomine/Kagami/Kuroko + 1 page Kuroko/Kagami
This doujinshi is really sexy for some reason. I couldn't help but blush the whole time I was working on it. I'm not sure if it's because of the fandom, the art, or Kuroko's lewd face, but it's amazing nonetheless.
Aaaaaand, I actually got my KuroBasu Official Fanbook Characters Bible a few days ago so I translated some parts:
Kiseki no Himitsu (Secret of the Miracles) - Interview with the Generation of Miracles
Takao Kazunari's Profile
Kiseki no Sedai + α Compatibility Diagnosis (Find your appropriate partner in basketball!)
I pretty much hid my Characters Bible to prevent it from wearing out too quickly, but if there are any more translation requests regarding the fanbook, I can always take it out again~
